The short answer is yes. Are they necessary if you never leave the pavement? Probably not, but our designs are for exploring the backroads and 8hrs a day on washboard is a real thing. Cabover supports provide the cabover section of your truck camper with added rigidity which we feel is important when building campers for exploring the backroads. The cabover supports along with the added strength of our outer FRP High Impact provides the ultimate in strength and rigidity for your build.

YES! We can deliver your DIY kit prepared to accept our integrated jack mounts. We do this by embedding lightweight but heavy duty FRP strength members in the four corners and our jack mounts are integrated into the design of our cabover supports for the ultimate in strength and durability.

We can supply adhesive at competitive prices to go with your DIY kit. Through exhaustive research we have found Sika 252 to be the best options due to its strength properties, availability and most importantly it’s UV stable so your seams won’t go chalky over time.

NO! Cascadia Composites do not use any wood products anywhere in our panels. For rigidity in the floors we use a composite fiberboard with similar strength properties to plywood but at ½ the weight. This results in a lighter and stronger camper shell meaning more capacity to build out your interior or bring toys on the road.
